Yet another landmark house we always craned our necks to glance at when we regularly puttered past, never quite sure what the interiors held. Well now we can rest assured this is the winner we had hoped for in so many ways. Primarily it’s a gem due to it’s pared back updating (kudos owners!)- leaving so many of the beautiful original features intact, and surprise surprise it’s now being sold on these merits- huzzah! The fabulous rectangular wall-of-glass frontage, the neat brick and wooden panelling, even the landscaping all conspire to make this the best Modernist house in West Footers, a suburb far more populated by Victorian cottages and Californian bungalows then Mod homes. Also including the coveted north-facing backyard and abutting a neighbouring park we think this one is worth every penny, busy road notwithstanding.
