Sitting on the roundabout at the intersection of modern architecture, post war holiday-making, pre-fab, Pacific exotica and the rise of the ‘alternative lifestyle’ sits the A-Frame house. A rarity these days and generally found to be tired old mish-mashes not really making the cut with us, this one is an exceptional goodie. It’s all about the lovely use of quality materials and a decent floor plan which allows this one to shine through. You can’t ignore that fab living room with sky high timber ceiling and pendant lighting straight out of Sunset magazine. Nor can you deny the classic Wes-Anderson-Camp-Kahoona vibe of the exterior stonework. All in all it is an Americana treat and certain to pique the interest of an inspired nature child out there.
